[Invalid] lighttpd on dd-wrt: can't resolve symbol '__uClibc_start_main'
Added by waveplant over 8 years ago
i've installed lighttpd on a Linksys Router running dd-wrt using:
ipkg -force-depends -d /jffs install lighttpd
when i try running lighttpd, i get the error in the subject of this thread:
lighttpd: can't resolve symbol '__uClibc_start_main'
--
any ideas? when i don't use -force depends to install, i get:
ipkg_install_file: ERROR: libxml2 depends on the following uninstalled programs:
libpthread zlib
ipkg_install_file: You may want to use `ipkg install' to install these.
ipkg_get_install: ERROR: Failed to install /jffs/tmp/ipkg/libxml2_2.6.20-1_mipsel.ipk
ipkg_get_install: I'll leave it there for you to try a manual installation
--
even though those two packages install successfully, both as dependencies and when installed separately with ipkg. any help is appreciated!

Sorry. I hope this is fixed in dd-wrt by now.
If not, this appears to be a packaging issue and should be directed to the dd-wrt forums.
