Redirect to main after reloading page in AngularJS

Added by itsko almost 6 years ago

I use AngularJS routing, and when i try to reload my sub pages, i'd like to redirect to the main (e.g. '192.168.147.100/' ), because after reloading (e.g. 192.168.147.100/system) i got 404 Not Found (because there is no page with this name 'system').

My lighttpd.conf file:

# lighttpd configuration file
#
# use it as a base for lighttpd 1.0.0 and above
#
# $Id: lighttpd.conf,v 1.7 2004/11/03 22:26:05 weigon Exp $

RE: Redirect to main after reloading page in AngularJS - Added by gstrauss almost 6 years ago

After removing all the comments and default values, your lighttpd config is fairly stock and simple.

One exception: for security reasons, it's not a good idea to have '.' in the PATH.

Now that that's out of the way, why is your AngularJS generating a bad link to a page which does not exist ("192.168.147.100/system")? One solution is to avoid generating an invalid link. Another is to set a CGI handler inside a condition that matches these location so that your backend CGI program handles these pages. Yet another solution is to use mod_rewrite to use url.rewrite-if-not-file to rewrite the request to "/" (in your case), or to have a CGI script be the target of mod_indexfile, e.g. index.php located in your document root (again, in your case).

Thanks,
But this page exist in Angular routing ("192.168.147.100/system"). And not exist on server, just("192.168.147.100/system.html")...

I'd like to know how can i make redirection to the my main page in this code

RE: Redirect to main after reloading page in AngularJS - Added by gstrauss almost 6 years ago

If you look at the URL, you might notice that this is a lighttpd forum, and not an angularjs forum. lighttpd has many different options to direct and map requests, and I gave some examples above. Please use a search engine to look up angularjs documentation and figure out what you are trying to do, and then read some lighttpd documentation about the options I mentioned above.
