Description

it came to my attention that lighttpd sites (at least this redmine) uses ugly icon with white background.

i created transparent icon 9 years ago, perhaps add it to subversion repo and replace in lighttpd.net webservers as well.

12:36:37 glen> btw, i created transparent lightty ico some time ago

Thanks for the contribution, glen!

@stbuehler: this seems like a trivial ticket. Can it be assigned to someone with access to upload favicon.ico to the redmine.lighttpd.net site? If not, is there any reason to keep this ticket open?

i think i still have svn rw access, just not sure where or whether to commit it!

The icon doesn't live in svn. I replaced it now with some transparent version (you'll probably need to reload the icon explicitly), I'll also attach the svg I created here for future reference.

in original report i said "perhaps add it to subversion repo" meaning that people can find it more easily, if it's in svn and included in release tarball.

also, seems redmine installation is not using svg, but still ico:

<link rel='shortcut icon' href='/favicon.ico' />

FYI: I just noticed that I am seeing the update icon in my browser. Thanks!
