Saving config file using utf-8 encoding prevents lighttpd from starting

Description

If you edit lighttpd.conf and save it using utf-8 encoding, when you try restarting lighttpd you get an error message saying the file has a synthax error line 1 character 1. It should be compatible with utf-8, the international and recommended file encoding system.

Did you save the file with BOM enabled?

save without BOM, then it works..
