As this module is auto-included by the daemon, do not add it to your configuration, otherwise you will see odd behaviour when it comes to directory indexes: they won't work as expected.

For instance, when you add this module to the configuration file, you will see that e.g., mod_ssi, won't work at all unless you request the 'index.shtml' explicitly.
