closedI am facing problem in mysql (lighttpd )
Description
I was facing this problem when I tried to install Ghost with mariaDb (I already had MySQL) which I later found out Ghost had stop its support for mariaDb so after lots of efforts and thousands of error for removing and reinstalling I finally solve installation of MySQL problem with removing deb and I also removed node and npm nvm
problem was with mysql-server I somehow manage after lots of hour to install successfully new MySQL server
but still I am facing below error
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
please I had newly install lighttpd, so can someone explain me about lighttpd2 in brief I had install lighttp latest version 1.4.73
it is like phython2 and python3?

An issue tracker is never the correct place to ask for support (or post tutorials), use the forums instead.
Also use the forums of the software you're actually having issues with - if your web application can't connect to MySQL, the webserver is not the problem.
Also you're in the lighttpd2 issue tracker; lighttpd2 is an unreleased branch of lighttpd (and as of now with no plans to change that), you should stick with lighttpd 1.4.x
