[Solved] Lighttpd + secdownload module working with content of folders

Added by tmmous over 15 years ago

Dear Lighty Community,

It would be very nice to have a feature in secdownload module which would allow access to the contents of the folder via secdownload obfuscated URL.

The sec_download module allows to hide individual files by obfuscating the url. But it doesn't work if you want to work with entire folder, its not possible to access the files inside the folder via the parent folder "obfuscated" URL, because md5 checksum is created with the use of folder's exact name and when you are trying to access the files within that folder they are forbidden.

Is there some setting or way to make the files inside folder accessible in secdownload module?
if not is it something being developed in near future?
If not would it be appropriate and possible to go to source code to change the code for the place where it checks the MD5 checksumm against the URI of files. Your response is very appreciated!

Lighttpd version: lighttpd-1.4.13
OS: Linux
Browser: Firefox

Thanks!
