network_posix_aio does not work on Mac OS X 10.4.8 (Intel)

network_posix_aio.c.231: (error) the mmap() failed, no way for a fallback:
connections.c.1413: (trace) (network-subsys sent us a fatal-error)

I can only get it working with writev as network-backend.

Not sure if this is a bug or just a problem with Mac OS X and mmap, and if it's possible to fix a way for a fallback.
