mod_geoip in regular distribution of lighttpd? (like accesslog mod_rewrite ...)

why?
GeoIP is used on a regular base by most companies. supporting geoip out of the box would help lighttpd to intrude in old-fashioned apache farms. ;)

also: applying mod_geoip by compiling into lighttpd is a TRUE pain. (too many differences between the lighttpd environment and the mod_geoip's developer's environment)

FYI: mod_geoip will be part of the next release, lighttpd 1.4.42
