Path of Temporary file used in chunk.c should be configurable

Description

The path of the temporary file being generated is hard-coded as /var/tmp , probably assuming that on all embedded systems /var/tmp is the ram file system. But this is not correct as any folder can be made as ram file system. So we must have an option to configure this path to have more control of the temporary files.
