Description
FreeBSD 5.3R, lighttpd 1.3.13 (installed via ports (1.3.13_1)), Ruby 1.8.2 (using mod_cgi).
After no reaction on Port 80 I checked the logs:
Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver kernel: swap_pager_getswapspace(16): failed Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver last message repeated 4 times Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver kernel: swap_pager_getswapspace(12): failed Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver kernel: swap_pager_getswapspace(16): failed Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver kernel: swap_pager_getswapspace(12): failed Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver kernel: swap_pager_getswapspace(16): failed Jun 18 23:59:15 bitserver kernel: swap_pager_getswapspace(12): failed Jun 18 23:59:16 bitserver kernel: pid 888 (lighttpd), uid 80, was killed: out of swap space
The server is a home-server with no load. At the same time only my self written ruby cgi-script (600 lines) was called:
