Description

I have bzip2 installed in a non-standard location. The executable is /pkg/bzip2/bin/bzip2, and the configure script finds it. The library is /pkg/bzip2/lib/libbz2.a (or .so) and the configure script doesn't find it. The include file is /pkg/bzip2/include/bzlib.h, and I doubt that the configure script would find it either. The only reason I installed bzip2 in the first place is that Debian unstable (which I'm using) doesn't have a dev version of bzip2. lighttpd compiles and installs fine with the -without-bzip2 configure option. Thanks for any help you can give.

This is a bug tracker, not a support forum. The package you need is "libbz2-dev"
