Description

We should discuss what we want to do with the docs in the sources.

Most people will have somehow internet available when they setup lighttpd, so we could probably remove them (at least from svn).

Perhaps build a script to fetch the docs from the wiki to put them into the release tarballs?

It is not an option imho to try to keep them in sync manually.

Well, TBH documentation in wiki isn't in sync with the current state of lighttpd. I found 2 days ago that libev wasn't listed there so I added it by myself. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me should look through it.
But still it's much less outdated than the one in /doc
When someone downloads lighttpd from SVN then (s)he must have an Internet connection == access to wiki here. Keeping outdated versions in /doc is rather pointless.
That's my opinion.
