Description

What happened:

Want to set up SSL cert for local pi-hole installation which uses lighttpd as the server backend.

Follow instruction in OP of this thread
https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/enabling-https-for-your-pi-hole-web-interface/5771

Testing and errors as described in this post:
https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/enabling-https-for-your-pi-hole-web-interface/5771/84

tl;dr - IPv6 working before changes; IPv6 stopped working once changes made to add SSL cert; IPv4 working the whole time and shows cert coming through hence issue may be something related to lighttpd treatment of IPv6.

What I expect

That IPv4 and IPv6 treated equally so if working for v4 then should work for v6.

Hi - posted this on issues but realised seems to be no traffic there (only one issue outstanding? not sure if actually used) please excuse if this is a double post.

We endeavor to triage and to fix bugs in lighttpd, which is why the issue tracker list is short. The issue tracker is for issues in lighttpd, not for user-misconfiguration issues.

The support forum is for questions for support as the vast majority of support questions are user-misconfiguration, not bugs in lighttpd.

Thank you for posting to the Support forums with your question for support (https://redmine.lighttpd.net/boards/2/topics/9099).
