Please has the rewrite_mod accept full URI

Description

All the other httpd accept rewrite rule with absolute URI. Why is lighttpd only accept relative URL?

There are many tickets for rewrite_mod, proxy_mod related to this limitation. I see there are no reason to complication the configure file by combine rewrite and proxy to do a full URL rewrite.

Besides, proxy_mod should accept both ip address and domain name. I see no reason otherwise.
