Description

Hi Jan,

are you planning to support multiple URLs like Perlbal with your new
Rewrite Header?

http://code.sixapart.com/svn/perlbal/trunk/doc/reproxying.txt

Caching of these hosts could be also useful

Perlbal Reproxy-Cache Docu

Thanks!

Felix

See X-Rewrite-Backend introduced in r1512. You can use it to pick a backend from a cluster given by X-Rewrite-Host, allowing you to begin to approximate perlbal's reproxy features. Note there is no support for caching or multiple URLs unless you implement in your app (or perhaps mod_magnet?)

x-rewrite-backend should be good enough.
