subversion checkout currently not possible

Hi,
i just tried to check out the 2.0 development source with subversion (svn checkout svn://svn.lighttpd.net/lighttpd/trunk/), which failed (can not connect to svn.lighttpd.net, the network is not available).
However, i can ping svn.lighttpd.net, but when i try to load http://svn.lighttpd.net/lighttpd , then i see an error message
Error 404 - Not Found
The requested resource was not found.
Make sure you entered the correct URL in your browser.
lighttpd/2.0.0
(i am not sure if a direct http access works at all for svn.lighttpd.net, but we can use this in our local network)
Redmine works, i can browse the source code: http://redmine.lighttpd.net/projects/lighttpd/repository/show/trunk

Trunk is 1.5
We've split 2.0 into it's own project since everything is different (e.g. wiki).
We also switched from svn to git for it.

This explains the age of the source code :-)
Thanks for the hint, i was able to download & compile lighttpd2. Now i will try to configure it. And i think you are interested in feedback....

I have some config syntax changes that I will push this evening, just for your info :)

I currently assemble first feedback information. Does the config syntax change affect vhosts? I have an vhost issue, i will include this in the feedback here.
