Description

in case of an IMS (If modified since) request and an answer with "304 Not modified", lighttpd sends the Vary/Content-Encoding for gzipped content (if browser supports), altough it doesn't make sense, as there is no content (shouldn't the min-file-size limit for compression hit here., because content length = 0)?

Is duplicate of Bug #1754: lighty SHOULD not include "Content-Encoding" in a 304 Not Modified responseFixedActions

If i understand the spec correctly it should be ok to send the "Vary" header, content-encoding is already removed. (And no, content-length is not zero; it is just not sent).
