Lighttpd

server.max-request-size (in r2290, last prerelease of lighttpd 1.5) can be set only globally.

Note max_request_size field is declared in base.h in both specific_config and server_config. Value from specific_config is not used.

I'd like to configure lighttpd to accept large files from intranet and small files from big Internet.
