Description

In short, mod_proxy seems to lock up on servers behind it which refuse connections. Eventually, the global server.max-write-idle timeout will expire and restore the situation back to normal, till mod_proxy hits that server again. the problem appears to exist both in 1.4.10 and 1.4.11, no idea about earlier versions.
